LESTER E. GROUT

Lester Ernest Grout was born in Madison county, July 14, 1898 and died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Grout of Union township, on Feb. 1, 1916, at the age of 17 years, 6 months, 17 days.

He had been suffering for some time with diabetes, but his death was caused by measles.

Funeral services were held from the home on Feb. 2d at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. W. J. Stewart.

He leaves his parents, one brother, Charles and three sisters: Mrs.Lenna Waltz and Misses Kathryn and Mary Grout.
