MARY ISABELLA CUMMINS

Mary Isabella Cummins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Cummins, was born in Putnam county, Ohio, Jan. 1, 1833 and moved with her parents to Madison county, Iowa, in the year of 1865 and departed from this life on April 6th, 1916, aged 83 years, 3 months and 6 days.

She leaves to mourn her loss three brothers: Thomas, William and Amariah and other relatives.

In early life she united with the Presbyterian church and has always lived a true Christian life.

Note: Burial was in the Clark cemetery.

Death of MISS BELLE CUMMINS

The critical illness from paralysis of Miss Belle Cummins terminated fatally on April 6th, 1916, at her home in southwest Winterset.

Miss Cummins was born 83 years ago on New Year's day in Ohio. In 1865, the family moved to this county. Three brothers survive her: William, Thomas and Amariah, the latter of whom resided with Miss Cummins.

Funeral services were held at the residence on Monday morning at ten o'clock, conducted by Dr. J. S. Corkey of the Presbyterian church, with which the deceased had been affiliated since girlhood. Interment was made in the Clark cemetery south of this city.
