David Cowden, one of the long-time residents of Jackson township, died yesterday forenoon, after a lingering illness. Mr. Cowden was nearly seventy-eight years of age. He was a man of high integrity of character, enjoying the esteem and confidence of neighbors and friends. The funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock to-morrow, and the burial will be in the Stringtown cemetery.
