Chips and Whetstones

W. L. Cutter, of Webster township, died almost instantly last Saturday, of apoplexy. He had been out in the field husking corn, but was called to the house to do some legal work, being justice of the peace. He sat down to the table to write, but could not do so and swooned away, dying in a few moments. Our informant says he was a prosperous farmer, about 45 years old, highly respected in that community, and by his death leaves a family.

Note: Buried in Roberts Cemetery, Harrison Township, Adair County. He was a prominent farmer in Grand River Township, Adair County, adjacent to Webster Township, Madison County.
