It is reported that the young son of Alvin Brownell died Monday with dropsy. He has been very sick several days.

Lester, the second son of A. F. Brownell of Union township, Adair county, died on Sunday night, aged one year. When first taken sick they supposed he was getting fleshy, but soon discovered that he was bloating. The doctor called it dropsy, caused by Bright’s disease and gave no hope of recovery.
