Chips and Whetstones

The death of Harry Coe, which occurred at the home of his parents in Patterson, October 2d, was indeed a sad one. He was a bright young man 18 years old, just entering the period of promise and fortune, a clear sky all about him, nothing apparently but hope, happiness and prosperity before him in life. But in the midst of it all a cloud appeared; one week’s sickness, then the grave. The funeral occurred at Patterson. Malarial fever was the trouble. Another son, Roy, and also Mrs. Coe have been sick with the same complaint, but are better now. The family expect to move to their new home in Clearfield next week.
