Wednesday, September 3, 1913Obituary - MRS. ERSIE BROBST
Mrs. Brobst was born near Winterset on Jan. 17, 1873, and died Aug. 26, 1913, aged 40 years, seven months and nine days.
She is survived by her father, Jessie Allen, of Brownlee, Nebr., one brother, Samuel of Winterset; and three half sisters, Mrs. Mary Craig of Adel, Mrs. Flora Brooks of Winterset and Mrs. Anna M. Free of Lewanna, Nebr.
In November, 1912, Mrs. Brobst was received into the Church of Christ, having made confession at the union tent meting. She enjoyed her christian life and seemed faithful to her vows.
Winterset has always been their home. Mr. Brobst having been in the employment of Mr. Brown for several years.
Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brooks, Aug. 28th, conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis. Interment in Rock City cemetery.
