ARTHUR MINER of Winterset Dies

Arthur Miner of Winterset, a retired carpenter who had lived in this county since 1932, died Saturday, July 11, 1964, at Memorial hospital here. He was 79 years of age.

Mr. Miner was a native of Missouri, where he was born at Golden City on Aug. 19, 1881, a son of Henry and Emma Wood Miner. He was a member of the Christian church.

Mr. Miner was married Nov. 29, 1911, at Precott, Ia., to Lola Snyder, who survives him.

He also leaves a son, Woodrow Miner of Winterset; a daughter, Mrs. Jack Easter of Altoona; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Ed and Clarence Miner of Prescott; and a sister, Mrs. Don Harney of Seal Beach, Calif. One daughter, Mrs. Lucille French, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. William E. Bowles, pastor of the First Christian church of Winterset. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
