Mrs. Malvina Smith, widow of L. N. Smith, died at her home in Lee township, December 17, 1894. She was born in Danbury, N. H., in 1830. She was married in 1850. The family came to Madison county in 1856, and have lived in the same neighborhood ever since.
She leaves three children, Mrs. D. C. Wright, Ira S. Smith, and Mrs. Emma Hayner.
The funeral services in Booneville, December 18, to a day, fifteen months after the burial of her husband.

Page 8Died, Malvina A. Smith, widow of L. N. Smith, died in Lee township Dec. 17th age 64 years.
Mrs. Smith was born in Danbury, N. H. She married Leonard N. Smith, A.D. 1850. They removed to Lee township in this county A.D. 1856, and have resided there ever since.
The deceased was buried at Booneville the 18th inst., it being exactly fifteen months after the burial of her husband. Rev. Lippincott preached the funeral sermon.
Surviving her are three children, Mrs. D. C. Wright, Ira S. Smith and Mrs. Emma Hayner.
