The household of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Heaton has been a sad one for a week past. They recently came to town to get medical treatment for their little boy, aged four years. On last Thursday night their youngest child died suddenly from an attack of croup, and was buried Friday evening. Since then the little boy has not been expected to live, but at last report he was slightly better. General sympathy is expressed for them.

On the evening of June 28th occurred the death of the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Abner Heaton. The child had been sick with the croup but was apparently well up until about thirty minutes of its death when it began choking and in a short time was beyond human aid.

The funeral occurred Friday evening.

One of their other children is in a very critical condition and its recovery is very doubtful. Deep sorrow is extended by the many friends toward the parents in their bereavement.
