Jane Anderson was born in the state of Illinois, Oct. 11, 1837 and died in Webster township, Madison county, Iowa, Feb. 14, 1921, aged 83 years 4 month and 3 days.
She was united in marriage to E. B. Robinson in 1863. They walked together in wedded bliss for 51 years. To this union were born six children: Dora, Emma, Alice May, Charles Curtis, Addison J., Albert and Ida Maude. The husband and father with two sons, Charles Curtis and Addison J., preceded the wife and mother in death.
The surviving children are: Mrs. C. P. Norris, Mrs. S. D. Hillis and L. A. Robinson of Winterset, and Mrs. Ida M. Glancy of Foss, Okla.
The deceased came to this state with her husband in 1866, where she has since resided. She was converted at the age of 21, and joined the M. E. church and has consistently maintained her church membership ever since.
The funeral services were conducted from Maple Grove U. E. church on Feb. 15, by the pastor, Rev. S. H. Williams, and the remains taken to Winterset for burial by the side of her late husband.
