Shortly following the item of Mrs. J. M. Lee's illness the lady was released from her suffering by the angel death. Her remains were deposited by the side of her husband in Blair Chapel cemetery on Friday.
Mrs. Lee's maiden name was Eleanor Cason, one of the first settlers in Madison county and she was married to J. M. Lee many years ago. They have since lived in this vicinity and reared a large and respectable family. For many years she was a member of the United Brethren Church. Last fall she purchased a home in St. Charles.

The funeral of Mrs. Lee, widow of the late Marion Lee, occurred at Blair Chapel Friday conducted by Rev. Hayden. She leaves 6 boys and 3 girls to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Eleanor Lee, widow of the late J. N. Lee, died Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. H. Schoonover, of rheumatic fever. She had been sick only a few days.

Mrs. J. M. Lee, an old resident of this county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hyder Schoonover, January 1st.
She went to her daughter for a visit and while there took sick with the rheumatic fever which caused her death.
The funeral occurred at Blair Chapel, where she was laid to rest.
