Mrs. S. A. Alexander Dies

Mrs. S. A. Alexander, prominent Jefferson township resident, died at her home, Tuesday noon, December 17th, after an illness of several months. She was sixty-nine years of age, and had been critically ill, since she suffered a stroke about two months ago.

The Rev. E. A. Elliott will conduct her funeral services which will be held at the Jefferson township United Brethren church, this afternoon (Thursday) at two o’clock, and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Alexander was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm McBride, pioneer residents of Jefferson township. She is survived by her husband and two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Baur, and Miss Carrie McBride. A son died in infancy, and a brother, Lawrence McBride died a number of years ago.
