Mr. Huston, father of Taylor Huston and Mrs. Andrew Crawford, died at the home of Taylor Huston in Lincoln township Tuesday morning of heart failure. He was quite an old man and had been suffering with the grip for several days. Tuesday morning he got up and dressed himself and attempted to walk out to a lounge in the sitting room. His legs failed him before he reached up and he was assisted to the couch by his son making the remark that it was all over with him. He died in an hour.

The body was taken to Des Moines for burial and was accompanied from here by several of his old friends who acted as pallbearers. His wife had recently died and was buried at the same place.
