Our community was greatly shocked on last Sabbath morning with the news that Sister Dora Heater had died at half past nine o’clock that morning. She had come home from her school sick, some three weeks ago, but only a few knew that she was considered dangerously ill. She was brought to the church at this place at twelve o’clock Monday, where the people gathered to take a last look at the beautiful remains of our beloved sister. So young, only 17, so bright and loving that it did not seem possible that she must be laid in the grave.

Note: Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
