Death of Oren Miller

Word was received in Winterset last week of the death of Oren Miller, a well known barber here prior to 1907. Mr. Miller died at his home in Portland, Oregon on July 26. He was 64 years old. He had lived in Portland since leaving Winterset.

Mr. Miller was married to Miss Maude Shearer of Winterset about 40 years ago. They were the parents of four sons, Harry, Leo, Wilbur, and Harold. The widow and children survive, and also a brother, Chauncey Miller, of Winterset.

Funeral services were held for Mr. Miller at his home in Portland, Oregon, and burial was made in that city.
