MRS. PATRICK REILLY DIES

Bevington – (Special) – Word was received here Tuesday of the death of Mrs. Patrick Reilly at her home in Des Moines. Mrs. Reilly was a native of Crawford township. She was the daughter of James and Anna Gillespie, and lived here until her marriage. Since then she has lived in Des Moines and California. She was a sister of T. L. Gillespie of Crawford township and of Monsignor James J. Gillespie of Keokuk.

Coordinator's's note: Per her Iowa Death Certificate, her first name was "Anna" and she is buried in the St. Ambrose Cemetery in Des Moines.

Transcribed as published, her parent's gravestone and her Madison County Marriage Record both give the surname as "Gillaspie".
