It is with regret I announce to their many friends the death of two of our oldest and most respected citizens, viz: Mrs. M. Barrows and Mr. Edward Penn.
The funeral occurred the same day, November 27, at the U. B. church, and were conducted respectively by Rev. Butler Bird, of Patterson, and Rev. Miller, of Winterset. A large number of relatives and friends bestowed their last token of devotion in seeing them laid to rest in the U. B. cemetery. The relatives have the sincere sympathy of the community.
