Page 11Graveside Services Held for Mrs. Baker
Graveside services were held for Mrs. Luneta Baker at the North McDonald Cemetery Saturday morning, January 22nd, Rev. Eldon Jandebeur, pastor of the First Christian Church officiated at the service.
Mrs. Baker was born April 11, 1906, the daughter of Hugh and Sarah Eliza Schutz Addy. She spent all of her life in this community until moving to Racine, Wisconsin a little over a year ago to be near her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Baker. She was a resident of St. Monica's Senior Citizen's Home.
She had been employed by Younker's Store in Des Moines for several years until retiring three years ago due to ill health. She died of a stroke last Wednesday.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Baker, a grandson, Wade Baker, two sisters, Mrs. Celia Ballard of El Paso, Texas and Leona Duncan of Winterset and a brother Wyman Addy of Winterset. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Baxter.
She was a member of the Winterset First Christian Church.
Note: Her husband is Bill Baker, not Baxter as the obit indicates.
