James McMichael, one of Crawford township’s old citizens, passed from life on the 26th of last month. Mr. McMichael was fifty five years old, was born in Ireland, and came to this country about the year 1862. He leaves a wife and nine children here and one in Pennsylvania. He was buried in the Porter burying ground. He had a large funeral, considering the impassable condition of the roads.
Note: Burial was made in Montpelier cemetery.
