MRS. OSCAR TUTTLE DIED HERE MONDAY

Death Occurs at Memorial Hospital at Age of 70 Years

Mrs. Oscar Tuttle of Monroe township died Monday, Sept. 16 at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset, at the age of 70 years.

Mrs. Tuttle was born in Texas county, Missouri, on June 11, 1887. She was the former Juno M. Moore, a daughter of John and Clara Moore. She was married at Summerville, Mo., on Aug. 5, 1908 to Oscar Tuttle.

She leaves her husband; nine children, John William Tuttle of Winterset, Charles Tuttle of Long Lake, Minn., Mrs. Pauline Taylor of Minburn, Robert Tuttle of Grimes, Mrs. Virginia Miller of Granger, Mrs. Agnes Bruman of Grimes, Henry Tuttle of Des Moines and Marvin and Jay who are in the U. S. Armed Forces. She also leaves a brother, John Moore of Linden; a sister, Mrs. Anna Dunninvin of Summerville, Mo.; 40 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Winterset Christian church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Warren Hile. Burial was made in Brethren cemetery at Dallas Center.
