Robert (Bob) Morgan Junkin, 2nd child of Joy and Irene Junkin was born July 30, 1923, in Adair, Iowa and passed away November 26, 2006 in Fullerton, CA. He spent his early school years in Adel and Perry and moved with his family in 1935 to Earlham and graduated in 1941. In later 1941, he with his older brother George and a friend, Lawrence Hayes, went to Calofironia and gained employment at Douglas Aircraft remaining there for 39 years. During that time he spent a tour of duty in Hawaii with the US Army. In the early 50's he married Joan Moore. The family increased with the arrival of son Rick and daughter Traci. Trior to his reitrement, Bob moved to Fullerton, CA and thoroughtly enjoyed his sports cars and helping manage the condominium complex in which he lived.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brothers George and Dickie.

Surviving are his son Rick and wife Cheryl of Dalton Garden, Idaho; daughter Traci Wilson and husband Steve of Lake Isabella, CA; two grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Velma Routh of Norwalk, IA and sister Eva Schwab and Clyde McMullen of Stuart, IA.

As was Bob's wishes, he was cremated and his ashes scattered at sea.
