EUNICE WINEBRENNER, Winterset

Eunice K. Winebrenner, 94, of Winterset died Dec. 18, 2007, at West Bridge Care & Rehabilitation in Winterset.

Graveside services were held Thursday, Dec. 20, at the Interment Union Cemetery, Guthrie Center.

Eunice Winebrenner was born May 27, 1913, in Guthrie County to George and Serena (Smith) Moore. Her marriage to Marshall R. Winebrenner took place Oct. 4, 1932, in Guthrie Center. A farmwife, Eunice and her family lived in Guthrie County until moving to the Peru area in 1953. She was a member of the Ladies’ Neighborhood Group and the National Farmers Organization.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Burdette; two brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Winebrenner of Des Moines and Richard Winebrenner of Peru; a sister, Edna Warner of Winterset; and five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to West Bridge Care & Rehabilitation in Winterset.

Arrangements were handled by Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset.
