Death of Mr. Sturman

J. B. Sturman, one of the pioneers of Madison county, died at his residence in this city Monday evening, after a painful sickness. He was a man well advanced n years, but we did not learn his exact age. He had become well known, not only near here, but over many states, for his skill in treating and curing cancers. The recipe was a secret with him, but we are told that he made arrangements before his death that others should be instructed in the act, that it might continue to be a benefit to humanity.
