Robert "Bob" Douglas Bruett, 24, Melbourne, Fla., died March 16 from injuries sustained in an accident.
He attended Winterset High School and was a former Madison County resident. His parents were Merle and Myrna Bruett of Route 5, Jonesborough, Tenn.
Mr. Bruett was a Johnson City, Tenn. Medical Center Hospital employee before moving to Melbourne in 1984. He graduated from Daniel Boone High School at Gray, Tenn., in 1983. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
Survivors in addition to his parents, include a brother, Jeffrey of Palm Bay; a sister, Valerie White, North Liberty, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Walter and Ruth Bruett, Winterset; and maternal grandmother, Helen Weber, Jonesborough.
Services were held March 20 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home at Jonesborough.
