Harvey Leroy Hindman, 82, of Winterset died Nov. 22, 2007, at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Winterset.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Ochiltree Funeral Service in Winterset. Visitation with family will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Winterset Cemetery.
Harvey Hindman was born Sept. 27, 1925, to Marion Harvey and Myrtle Ann (Hodgson) Hindman of Laurel. A lifelong resident of Madison County, he retired in 1990 from a lifetime career of farming. Harvey was an active member of the New Hope Christian Fellowship Church and Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by five siblings — Albert Hindman, Lorrena Dolmage, Leland Hindman, Arlene Cuttler, and Raymond Hindman; and three half siblings — Hazel Barker, Merle Hindman, and Glen Hindman.
He is survived by three sisters-in-law, Mary Lee Hindman of Winterset, Irma Hindman of Earlham and Roberta Hindman of Indianola.
