A notice of the death of Mr. Wm. Tarbell, Sr., an old and respected citizen of Lincoln township, who died at his home Thursday, the 25th ult, was omitted last week by accident. Deceased was past 80 years of age. His last sickness was of only about one week’s duration.

Coordinator's note: The gravestone photo appears to say death occurred in 1853. However, the cemetery did not exist until 1870 and the day of death (April 25) and his age are exactly what appears in this obituary. The stone was revisited in 2020 during another general walk-through recording of all stones and yielded "1889" for this stone. The photo will be replaced as time permits.
