OBITUARY

DIED--At her home, one mile east of Winterset, Madison county, Iowa, February 13, 1889, Mrs. Elnora Cole, in her fortieth year.

Mrs. Cole was born in Delaware county, Ohio, February 13, 1848. She was married in Newton county, Mo., November 15, 1866, to Mr. M. S. Cole. The family came to Madison county in 1882. The deceased was a member of the Disciple church, and was a woman of excellent character. Her departure is deeply felt by the stricken family. She leaves a husband and six children, who deeply feel the loss they have sustained.

The funeral took place Friday the 15th, conducted by the pastor of the M. E. church.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
