Scott Alan Ferris, 41, of St. Charles died Nov. 3, 2007, in a hunting accident.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 8, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola.
Scott Ferris was born March 17, 1966, in Des Moines to Gerald “Jerry” and Maxine Ferris and was a 1984 graduate of Hoover High School. On Feb. 13, 1993, he married Doreen Denison. Scott was employed as a salesman for Logan Contractors Supply in Des Moines. He was active in the St. Charles Lions Club, participated in pool leagues, was an officer in the National Wild Turkey Foundation, and a sponsor of Jakes Fun Day (NWTF).
He is survived by his wife, Doreen, of St. Charles; two sons, Chase Ferris and Cole Ferris, both of St. Charles; his parents, Jerry and Maxine, of Des Moines; and a brother, Todd Ferris of Urbandale.
