Obituary

Annie Stockdale was born in Rush county, Indiana, January 10, 1837, and died at Des Moines, Ia., December 13th 1899. She was converted early in life and at her death was a member of the Presbyterian church. She was united in marriage to A. G. Tomlinson, January 4th, 1857. The remains were brought to Patterson for burial and the funeral services were conducted by the U. B. minister of that place at Blair Chapel.

Obituary

Annie Stockdale was born January 16, 1837, in Rush county, Indiana; was married to A. G. Tomlinson January 4, 1857; died December 13, 1899, aged 62 years, 11 months and 28 days. She was converted while young and joined the M. E. church, afterward uniting with her husband in the Presbyterian church and died a member of the same. Her remains was shipped from Des Moines to Patterson and interred in the Blair cemetery, after appropriate funeral services in the Blair Chapel church, conducted by the U. B. minister of Patterson.

Word was received here this morning that Mrs.
Amie Tomilson, aunt of county auditor Cash Stiles, died at her home in Des Moines last evening and her remains will be interred in Blair Chapel cemetery, near Patterson tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock. The deceased is the wife of A. G. Tomilson, at one time a resident of this city.
