Page 8Death from Lockjaw.
Died, at the home of his father, Eli Snyder, in Penn township, Tuesday, August 14th, Henry D. Snyder, aged 15 years, 13 days. The cause of death was lockjaw, brought on by running a large splinter in the foot.
Henry was a dutiful boy to his parents and had a deep affection for his brothers and sisters. He was the youngest member of the family and died in the room in which he was born. This is the fifth child that Eli and Caroline Snyder have buried and this, the death of the youngest, is a very severe blow to them.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. W. W. Ramsey, were held in the M. E. church, Thursday afternoon. Our people all sympathize with the bereaved family.--Dexter Sentinel.
