Died, Sunday, August 18th, near Earlham, Iowa. Mrs. M. A. Mills, aged 57 years. Mrs. Mills was a sister of Mr. Calvin Ballard, of this place, and had lived in this county for 30 years, during all of which time she had been an invalid.

Note: From census records and cemetery records the transcriber believes this is Mary Ann Mills, buried in the North Branch cemetery.
