CLIFFORD AMY

Clifford Amy was born Dec. 10, 1893, in Penn township, Madison county.

Here he grew to young manhood. Seven years ago, he went to Colorado and entered a homestead, where he lived until he enlisted, June 2, 1918 in the service of the U.S. army and was assigned to Camp Cody N.M. Later he was transferred to Camp Dix, N.J.

He was taken sick with the grip, and was sent to the hospital where he thought he was rapidly recovering, but complications arose and pneumonia developed and he passed away on Sept. 23, his age being 24 years, 9 months and 13 days.
