From the St. Charles REPORTER we take the following: The family of John O'Grady were greatly surprised last Tuesday morning when going to the bedroom of James Roach, who has made his home with them for years, to find him dead in his bed. The day before he had been engaged in shoveling coal and had retired after eating a hearty supper in usual sound health and spirits. In the morning he failed to appear at breakfast time and they went to his room and found him dead.

He was a kind hearted old gentleman about 80 years old, and no one knows whether he has any relatives living or not. He went by the name of "Uncle Jimmy," and had for many years made his home with Mr. Grady, where he -------. ------ was summoned, and a jury composed of A. V. Barger, Jacob Way and J. W. Carman rendered a verdict to the effect "that the deceased came to his death by reason of an affection of the heart."
