From a telegram received by Mr. W. F. Payton we learn of the death of Rev. W. D. Bennett, at Los Angeles, Cal., last Sunday evening. The news was not unexpected by his many friends, but will be received, nevertheless, with sadness. A model pastor, a faithful and devoted minister, has passed to his reward.
