M. B. Green, one of the most respected citizens of this city, died suddenly last Saturday of paralysis. He was taken with a very severe stroke Friday morning while at home and died the following morning. The funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon and were conducted by the Rev. Dr. Robertson and the Knights of Pythias Lodge, of which he was a member in high standing.

The deceased was stricken with paralysis or apoplexy last Friday morning, and died the next morning. He leaves a wife and grown-up daughter to mourn his loss.
A large concourse of friends attended his funeral on Sunday afternoon, including the Knights of Pythias and a few of the Workmen, of which orders he was a worthy member.
Mr. Green, though unobtrusive, was a kind neighbor, a good citizen, and an exemplary member of the Presbyterian church.
