Special Mention

Mr. Wm. Vance, one of the most respected citizens of this county, died last Thursday morning after an illness of nearly a year. The funeral services were held at the house northeast of town two miles, Friday and the remains were interred in the city cemetery.

Died - WILLIAM VANCE - At his late place of residence, north of town on last Thursday.

Mr. Vance came among us some six years ago, and had made many friends here. He leaves a wife, and a family all grown up.

He suffered long and for the most part hopelessly and daeth came to him as a relief.
