OBITUARY

Died, Feb. 10th, 1886, of consumption, Mrs. Jessie Mayne, wife of Mr. Reuben W. Mayne, and only daughter of Mr. Wm. Martin, near St. Charles. The deceased united with the United Presbyterian congregation of that place early in life and an exemplary christian. She was very patient in her sufferings, and took delight in conversation pertaining to her Redeemer in whom she confided.

A very large funeral attested the sympathy of the community for the bereaved. She was an only daughter. Her father and brothers will miss her. She leaves a husband and three children.
