Death of WALDO WEBSTER

A delayed report of the death of Waldo Webster, former Winterset man, reached the Madisonian office this week. Mr. Webster died at the home of his daughter in Los Angeles, California, several weeks ago. He was 81 years old.

Waldo Webster was a member of a family well known in Winterset many years ago. They came here from Massachusetts, and lived across the alley south from where the city library now stands. He learned the printing trade in the Madisonian office and at one time edited a newspaper at Sibley.
