November 14, 1878 - page 7LODGE - At her residence in Crawford township, Madison county, Iowa, on Nov. 2, 1878. Mary, wife of Wm. Lodge, and daughter of Rev. Thomas Hill, Born in Yorkshire, England, Aug. 27, 1839.
She embraced religion when quite young: emigrated to America in 1869 (unsure of date as it is difficult to read), and has lived an exemplary Christian ever since arriving in this country.
