Patterson Man Is Fatality

Clarence E. Perdue, 57, of Patterson, was fatally injured last Friday morning when he accidentally was run over by a truck owned by Central Iowa Refuse Co. of Winterset, at Lakewood, Iowa. Perdue was a driver for the Winterset Refuse Company.

Perdue was born in Minburn, Iowa and had lived in Des Moines until three years ago when he moved to Patterson.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille; four stepsons, John, Jackie, Lyman D. Michael, all of Des Moines and Myron Michael of Coronado, California; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lucinda Pepel and Mrs. Karen Goodwin, both of Des Moines, Belinda Michael of Chariton; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Owens of Perry, Mrs. Ella Potter of Polk City and Mrs. Ethel Bauer of Green Bay, Wisconsin; one brother, Francis Rudsil of California; and ten grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted at Gallaway McLaren Funeral Chapel in Norwalk, this Tuesday in Norwalk, this Tuesday afternoon. Burial was made at the United Brethren Cemetery near Polk City, Iowa.
