It was with genuine sorrow that the people of this county especially the older residents learned of the death of Nathaniel Guiberson. There ae few left of the settlers who came to Madison county before 1850 and death is rapidly taking them from us. The county owes much to these rugged pioneers and to no one of them more than to Uncle Nat. He was a fine old man, a thorough, kindly gentleman by breeding and by nature, and his memory in this county where he worked so long and spent so many of his years will live as long as its history.
