AMY STEVENS, 91, Died Here Sunday

Funeral services for Amy W. Stevens, widow of a former Methodist minister, were to be held this Wednesday afternoon from the First Methodist church here.

Mrs. Stevens died July 9, 1967, at Madison Manor nursing home. She was 91 years of age.

The daughter of Johann and Dorothy Schwanenburg Wittenburg, she was born Aug. 6, 1875 at Sumner, Iowa. Her husband, Rev. Joseph D. Stevens, died Feb. 17, 1954.

Mrs. Stevens had lived in Winterset the past 20 years, where she was a member of the First Methodist church.

She was the last survivor of a family of eight children.

Officiating at the service here Wednesday was the Rev. Walter A. Samp. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
