DEATH OF WILLIAM KIRSHER

From the Denver Tribune-Republican we learn of the sad death of William Kirsher, a brother of Joseph Kirsher, of this place. He was out hunting with his brother, Charley Kirsher. Some other men who went out with them being also hunting, a short distance away. The company had a wagon with them, and had left one of the men and a boy with it. As the Kirshers were close together on the opposite side of the road from the rest of the company, Charley observed the wagon coming around a curve in the road, and motioned to the driver to hurry up, as they wanted to ride. Just at this time he heard the report of a gun, and turning saw his brother William fall to the ground. Rushing to his assistance, he found him still living but unconscious. He was taken to a neighboring house, which was reached in ten minutes. On arriving at the house, they found the unfortunate man dead. How he happened to have his gun in such a position, or how it was accidentally fired with such fatal results, can not, of course, be known.

The mother and one brother of the unfortunate man live in our city, and will have the sympathy of our people. Deceased was a widower about 25 years of age. He leaves one child about eighteen months old.
