Death Of MISS ANNA JACKSON

The death of Miss Anna C. Jackson on Saturday, was a great shock to her friends, many of whom knew nothing of her illness, which lasted only five days. Pneumonia was the cause of her death.

Miss Jackson was a nurse, graduating from Oskaloosa college and Taylor University, Indiana. She pursued her work successfully for five years and made a name for herself in its difficult and broad field.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson of Douglas township. She had held loyal church membership for sixteen years.

Funeral services were held Monday at West Star church, conducted by Rev. E. J. Jumpfpeg with burial in Winterset cemetery.
