Our Chip Basket

We acknowledge a call from A. Maxwell, of Adair county. He brought to her former home in Peru the body of Mrs. Mary Johnson, of that county. Mrs. Johnson died last Sunday after a short illness. She was the daughter of H. C. Wright, of Peru. We extend our sympathies to the bereaved friends and relatives. Her loss is greatly deplored in her home where she had the respect of all.

Note: Mary Johnson is buried in the Peru cemetery.
