MRS. LUCINDA TRESTER GOFF

Harriett Lucinda Trester was born in Madison county, Iowa, Aug. 3, 1861 and died at St. Joseph, Mo., Dec. 13, 1921.

On April 20, 1881 she was united in marriage to Alfred M. Goff. To this union were born five children: Mrs. Walter Heard of Carpenter, Iowa, James Arch, Clarence C. and William Glen of Blockton, Iowa, and Corbet Monroe of Winterset.

She united with the Worthington M. E. church of this county in early life and continued in this relationship to the day of her departure.

She leaves to hold her in fond and cherished memory, her husband, her five children, three grandchildren and three sisters: Mrs. Frank Alexander of Ada, S.D.; Mrs. Frank Gaskill of Horton, Mo., and Mrs. S. G. Dunn of Winterset; and her brother, James Martin Trester of Buffalo Lake, Minn., and a large circle of sympathetic friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. LeRoy C. Cooley.
