MRS. TRUMBAUER OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Mrs. Elizabeth Trumbauer of St. Charles died last Friday, March 27, at Madison Manor in Winterset. She was 74 years of age.

Mrs. Trumbauer was a resident of Madison county all her life, except the last 16 years in Des Moines. She was born in Dallas county Nov. 11, 1895, a daughter of William and Katherine Spatz Cushing. She was married Nov. 13, 1913, to LaVerne Trumbauer. His death occurred in 1920.

She was a practical nurse by profession, working for Doctor Sayre in St. Charles from 1936 until 1953, and at Wesley Acres in Des Moines from 1954 until 1970.

Mrs. Trumbauer was a member of the St. Charles Methodist church.

Surviving are a son, Ray Trumbauer of Winterset; a granddaughter, Mrs. Larry Huff of Winterset; two great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Everett Schultz, of Stuart; and two brothers, Mack Cushing of Birmingham, Mich., and Ralph Cushing of Alpine, Calif.

Funeral services were held Monday from the St. Charles Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. James M. Louk of St. Charles and the Rev. George Denmith of Des Moines. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
