Last Sunday Miss Hattie Ladd, living in the south part of the city died very suddenly. She had been out walking till late in the evening and shortly after her return was found to be in a dying condition. Certain persons living in the vicinity thought there was something in the manner of the young lady's death which warranted an inquest, and Coroner Boyles was summoned, who upon his arrival impanneled a jury consisting of D. T. Welch, Cal. Ballard and Charles Gratz. Dr. Likes and Dr. Milholland made a thorough examination and from their testimony and all the attending circumstances the jury brought in a verdict that the death was from natural causes.
