FROM MACKSBURG

Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Ballard's child near 12 years old, died yesterday after nearly four months decay of consumption. Death seems to be biased to the young here. Out of six deaths since last fall but one was over thirty-five years old--Mr. Marley near fifty. We seem now to have passed our severe cases, but who know who will go next.
